What is Children International's UALR Share America Program? The program is coordinated by the Office of Campus and Community Partnerships at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and serves as a university-community partnership with programs delivered on-site to under served children. Over the last five years, SA has grown from working with 100 to 1,155 children who are enrolled at five partner sites: Bale, Franklin, Wakefield, Wilson & Stephens Elementary Schools, and the UALR Neighborhood Homework Center. Children, age 4-12 years of age, receive core benefits to include educational activities, health benefits, family assistance, and special gifts. Children International, the Kansas City-based sponsorship organization of Share America, connects thousands of sponsors across the United States to children in need.
